Pier Giorgio is an original audio book musical that tells the story of the revered Italian Catholic activist who dedicated his life to social justice and charitable endeavors.

Let Them Live | Composer and Producer (2018)

“Let Them Live” is an anthem for the unborn with words and music by Ronald Owen in collaboration with his son, Nicholas Owen. The song was recorded in both English and Spanish (Déjalos Vivir) versions. “Let Them Live” is also a music video which won First Place for Best Music Video and Best Music Video Audience Choice Award at the International Christian Film and Music Festival.

Carolina | Orchestrator and Arranger (2017)

Carolina is an original contemporary ballet that tells a harrowing story of abduction. The work premiered at The Plaza Live in Orlando, Florida on April 8, 2017.

Inseparable | Composer (2017)

Inseparable is a short thriller film following a woman in search of her missing memory, her lost daughter, and secrets to be revealed. It has received several awards on the festival circuit, including an award from the Mid Tenn Film Festival.

Floridia | Creator and Composer (2015)

Floridia is a multidisciplinary collaboration between Yellow Boots Music (Ronald and Nicholas Owen) and muralist Michael Owen, best known for the creation of the Baltimore Love Project. The work combined original live music and visual art in a unique live performance at the Creative City Project in Orlando, Florida.

Requiem for a Young Man | Creator, Composer and Producer (2012)

A musical stage work created and produced by Ronald Owen, Requiem for a Young Man is a multi-genre project, combining elements of opera, oratorio, ballet and musical theater. The show immerses audiences in the journey of a young man who falls in love, answers his country’s call to serve, and leaves family and friends to fight on a foreign field.

Last Ounce of Courage | Composer (2012)

Last Ounce of Courage is a full-length feature film in which the son of a fallen soldier tries to reconnect with his grandfather. Music was composed by Ronald Owen and recorded with the Nashville Strings.

Southeast Christian Church Easter Pageant | Musical Director, Supervisor, Composer and Orchestrator (2008)

Ronald Owen combined his many gifts for the 2008 Easter Pageant at Southeast Christian Church in Louisville, Kentucky. Owen auditioned, rehearsed and directed a 250 voice on-stage choir, 150 voice off-stage choir, soloists and 45-piece orchestra in one of the largest Easter Pageants in the U.S. over 70,000 guests attended the pageant’s 16 performances.

H20 | Composer and Orchestrator (2006)

Produced by City On A Hill Productions, H20 is a ten-episode film project introducing viewers to the person of Jesus Christ.

End of the Spear | Composer (2005)

End of the Spear is a full-length motion picture that tells the story of five Christian missionaries and their attempt to reach the Huaorani tribe of Ecuador with the gospel message. The original soundtrack by Ronald Owen received Best Instrumental Album of the Year at the 2007 Dove Awards.

Open Secrets | Composer and Orchestrator (2005)

Open Secrets is a documentary film chronicling a story of the AIDS epidemic in Africa.

The Holy Land Experience | Director of Production (2000-2005)

As Director of Production at the Holy Land Experience in Orlando, FL, Ronald Owen oversaw all aspects of musical and dramatic entertainment, creating and producing a variety of live shows in diverse venues for visitors from around the world.

The Kingdom, The Power, The Glory | Composer, Lyricist, Orchestrator and Producer (2000-2005)

The Kingdom, The Power, The Glory is a stage musical created by Ronald Owen, based on the Gospel of John. Originally launched in Cleveland, Ohio the musical was seen and enjoyed for many years by visitors to The Holy Land Experience.

Beyond the Gates of Splendor | Composer, Orchestrator and Conductor (2002)

Beyond the Gates of Splendor is a full-length award-winning documentary film that describes the events leading up to and following Operation Auca, in which five American missionaries were killed by the Huaorani tribe of Ecuador.

Ben-Hur: The Musical | Composer, Lyricist and Musical Director (1999)

Ben-Hur: The Musical premiered in Orlando, Florida, in November 1999. Composer Ronald Owen was involved in creative development, casting, directing musical rehearsals, and conducting the orchestra for performances.

Mim | Creator, Composer, Lyricist and Orchestrator (1996)

Premiering in 1996 in Cleveland, Ohio with performances in Chicago, New York and Los Angeles, Mim is a musical love story of Mary and Joseph.
